About Jessica Stern
Born and raised in New York City, Jessica studied film and photography at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, then spent numerous years working in financial services. In recent years, she returned to photography, launching the multi-year "Good People of Seattle" photography project to call attention to the plight of the homeless in Seattle, her current home. During the Covid-19 pandemic, Jessica joined the Great Resignation and returned to photography as a full-time calling.
Her work has been featured in Guggenheim's Aubergine journal, American Spirit magazine, and the Woodinville Weekly newspaper. She provides photography services for nonprofit organizations such as Babies of Homelessness, Reach Ministries, and Doney Coe Clinic, and her work has been featured on their websites and promotional materials and annual reports.
She currently lives in Woodinville, Washington, with her husband, two cats, and Australian Shepherd.
